HTC Evo 4G LTE Announced by Sprint
HTC and Sprint announced this week that they will launch the new HTC Evo 4G LTE smartphone later this year with pre-orders for the device starting on May 7.
The Evo 4G LTE will be the first HD voice-capable smartphone to be released in the U.S.
HD voice technology allows users to experience a deeper clarity and better audio experience in VoIP communications with the use of wideband technology. In other words, the sound on a phone call will be significantly clearer and have a higher quality level overall compared to most of the current devices on the market.

The Evo 4G LTE will also join Sprint's line-up of smartphones for its LTE service that also includes the upcoming LG Viper. It will run on Google's latest operating software Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich.
Specifications on the device include HTC's Sense 4, a 4.7-inch HD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.3-megapixel front camera and a 2000mAh embedded battery.
The HTC ImageSense technology is also expected to add a competitive edge to the EVO 4G LTE's camera making it the finest for photography in the smartphone market.
The smartphone's release also allows for Sprint to become the first carrier in the U.S. to announce plans for a nationwide HD Voice network that will launch in the latter end of 2012.
