Differences in design from its predecessor can be seen in the metal body that now wraps around the edges instead of having straight sides with chamfered edges. It actually resembles the One X more.

A small round hole can be seen above the camera on the back of the device. This could be used as an opening for a fingerprint scanner or a secondary camera lens.

Internal specs for the handset are expected to be a Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB RAM and a Full HD display, however, nothing is confirmed at this time.

This new flagship model will probably launch sometime in the beginning of next year. Leaks will most likely increase in frequency the as time moves closer to the actual release date.

The HTC One launch back in the beginning of this year and is scheduled to receive Android 4.4 sometime soon. KitKat ROMs are already available for the device.

Developer Stephen Bird launched a fully working AOSP KitKat ROM that will work on the AT&T, T-Mobile and international versions of the HTC One. Bird claims his ROM uses binaries from the One's Android 4.3 update but performs very stable for an early build. The only feature that doesn't work is the IR blaster.
