HTC One X Launching on AT&T This Week?
The upcoming HTC One X smartphone could be launching on AT&T as early as this week, according to BGR's John Geller.
"BGR's John Geller, who has had reliable sources in the past, said the smartphone out of Taiwan could launch less than a week after its announcement," wrote 9to5Google.
The device was rumored to be released between April and May so there is a good possibility that Geller's information is correct.
The HTC One X is the most powerful device in the company's new line of devices that features Google's latest software, Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich.
The line also includes the One V and One S, the latter of these is scheduled to launch on T-Mobile on April 18 of this year.
The One X, the most powerful of these, features a Tegra 3 quad-core processor, a 4.7-inch Super LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels, and an 8-megapixel camera that includes an ImageChip that kicks up picture processing. It will also be 4G LTE and have Beats Audio software pre-installed.
The One X will be released through AT&T sometime next month in the U.S.
Specifications on the One V include a 1GHz processor, Android 4.0 (with Sense 4.0), a 3.7-inch WVGA display, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal memory. It also comes with Beats Audio and a 5-megapixel rear shooter.
The One S is slightly less powerful, but still sports some impressive features including a 4.3-inch display with 960 x 540 resolution, a dual-core SnapDragon S4 processor, an 8-megapixel camera and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It will be released through T-Mobile sometime this spring in the U.S.
The One X is rumored to be launching on T-Mobile as well.
Both the One X and One V are already available in various nations overseas.
