iPhone 4S Release Date: App Helps Husband Catch Wife in Adultery

An iPhone app has helped a man catch his wife being unfaithful. The man used Apple’s Find My Friends app which allows you to follow people and see where they are via GPS.

The app is designed to help users find their friends easily - but only if the people agree to have you follow them. The app must first be activated and users must “opt in” for the service.

In this case the husband claimed to have activated the app on his wife’s new iPhone 4S without her knowing after suspicions were raised about his wife’s faithfulness.

The unnamed man, from New York, posted his story on MacRumors forum.

“I got my wife a new 4s and loaded up Find My Friends without her knowing,” he wrote. “She told me she was at her friend’s house in the east village.”

But the app showed that the wife was in Manhattan.

He continued: “I've had suspicions about her meeting this guy who lives uptown. Lo and behold, Find my Friends has her right there.”

The man, who posted on the forum as “ThomasMetz” also wrote: "Thank you Apple, thank you App Store, thank you all. These beautiful treasure trove of screen shots going to play well when I meet her a$$ at the lawyer's office in a few weeks."
