'Iron Man 3' Spoilers: Attack on Stark's Home Revealed
"Iron Man 3" hits theaters this May and the film stars Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man.
IGN recently had the opportunity to screen around 20 minutes of the film, which included one of the most interesting parts seen in the second trailer. This scene has Iron Man's new enemy, The Mandarin, staging an all out attack on Tony Stark's Malibu home.
IGN was able to watch this entire sequence along with the scenes immediately before and after it. The site revealed that at this point in the film that The Mandarin has taken credit for an assault that has seriously injured another character, Happy Hogan. Once Stark finds out about the assault, he goes on a rampage and ends up yelling into news cameras saying that The Mandarin should come to his home and reveals his address to the public, giving the madman enough information for this attack.

Other footage seen by IGN included another character known as Maya Hansen, played by Rebecca Hall, knocking on Tony Stark's front door and finding him and Pepper Pots (Gwyneth Paltrow) there. Maya and Tony have a history and appear to have been lovers in the past.
This scene is followed by Maya and Pepper encouraging Tony to take himself out of harm's way, however, their warning is a bit too late, as the TV shows helicopters approaching his home. The helicopters than launch missiles at the house, and Tony quickly attempts to transform into Iron Man with a new gadget. He summons the armor from across the room, which accidentally ends up on Pepper, who is now in control of the Iron Man suit.
