Is Todd Palin Fed Up With Marriage? Divorce Rumors Continue
Rumors are spreading that Todd Palin plans to divorce Sarah Palin as he is “fed up” with the constant scandals surrounding their marriage.
A new book called “Rouge: Searching For the Real Sarah Palin” by Joe McGinniss alleges that right before their marriage, Palin had a one-night stand with former NBA star Glen Rice. The book also accused Palin of a six-month affair with her husband’s business partner, Brand Hanson. Palin is also accused of drug use in the book among other character assassinations.
The National Enquirer reported that sources close to Todd Palin say he is “fuming” over the book’s allegation that she had an affair with his business partner and that he feels like he’s been made the laughing stock over his wife’s affairs.
There were also reports of a statement made by Chuck Heath Jr. in which Jr. said Todd and Sarah “didn’t have a marriage” hurt him. According to the tabloid’s source, “it was the final straw”.
McGinniss said “Sarah Palin has lived an outrageous life, and all I did was talk to people about it. When I was comfortable with the veracity of what I heard, I put it into the book.”
It was rumored that the Palins were heading towards divorce last year as well which is why the National Enquirer headline is garnering more attention than usual. Mrs. Palin was said to have reacted angrily to that report.
McGinniss, who previously wrote a bestseller about Richard Nixon's 1968 presidential run, spent four months last year interviewing Palin’s associates while living in a rented home right next to Sarah and Todd Palin's in Wasilla, Alaska.
On Todd Palin’s Facebook page, he spoke out against the book saying, "This is a man who has been relentlessly stalking my family to the point of moving in right next door to us to harass us and spy on us to satisfy his creepy obsession with my wife.
"His book is full of disgusting lies, innuendo, and smears....Even The New York Times called this book 'dated, petty,' and that it 'chases caustic, unsubstantiated gossip.'"
