Jada Pinkett-Smith Mother's Day Video: Willow Reveals Regret Over Fame (VIDEO)
Jada Pinkett-Smith discussed motherhood, fame and the challenges of life in the upcoming video titled "Red Table Talk," to be released on Mother's Day, and it was her daughter Willow's views on fame that has set tongues wagging.
The 40-year-old actress and wife of actor Will Smith sat down for the intimate discussion with Willow and her mother Adrienne Banfield-Jones. The trio asked each other personal questions and her daughter's response to one of the questions asked shocked her.
"If I had to change one thing about my life, it would probably be, I wouldn't be famous," Willow responded when asked by Jada what she would change about her life if she were able. "Because when you're famous it's so hard. Let's say if a regular girl is going to the book store, it's ten times harder to go everywhere [when you're famous]. But some people are like, 'Oh, it's so easy,' and I'm like, 'As fast as you can get there, it's going to take me ten more minutes to get there.' Because I have to call security."

Jada sympathized with 11-year-old Willow's frustrations about being in the public eye and asked her daughter to further explain.
"It's not like I can't reverse being famous," Willow said. "Sometimes I don't want to be, but then sometimes I do because when there's a problem in the world, more people will listen to me … it's kind of like helping people and if I'm not, then I can't help people as much as I would if I was famous."
Willow, who like Jada is an actress and singer, is often scrutinized by the media about her appearance despite her tender age.
On Feb. 2 the "Whip My Hair" singer debuted her shaved on Twitter, which led some critics to question whether her parents' alleged marital woes had prompted the drastic hair cut.
"The kids are really suffering. They haven't spent any time as a whole family in months, and it's not going to happen anytime soon - if ever again," a source told HollywoodLife.
Fans began questioning whether Jada and Will were headed for a divorce after months of media speculation, although the couple have denied they are having problems.
Jada opened up about the challenges of being a wife and mother during the emotional discussion.
"It's very challenging being a wife and a mother. It's a paradox ... when two opposites are true. I've learned that my life is full of much paradox so being a wife and a mother is probably one of the most extraordinary experiences and the most fulfilling experiences of my life," Jada told Willow, who had asked her the question.
"But at the same time it has been very difficult to balance being able to do the things that I wanna do and have the freedoms that I wanna have and also being responsible for you, and your brothers and your father and I'm constantly everyday trying to figure out that balance," she added.
