Jenelle Evans Needs Help, Courtland Rogers 'Needs God,' Friend Says

Jenelle Evans and Courtland Rogers have had a rocky relationship to say the least, and now a friend has come up with the ideal solution for their relationship. Jim Yonkers, a friend of the two, has suggested that Evans gets the treatment and help she needs while Rogers "needs to find God."

"Courtland needs to find God. I will have some serious talks with him about that, and getting away from Jenelle would be the main thing. I wish Jenelle no ill will and want both of them to succeed, but I agree with the Rogers family that it will have to be away from his estranged wife for both sides to get to where they need to be," Yonkers told Radar Online.

Rogers and Evans have had an off-again, on-again marriage ever since they quickly got engaged and married without revealing the need for such haste. Not too long after, Evans revealed she was pregnant but then had a miscarriage and filed charges of assault against Rogers.

He was formally charged with four counts of assault, including two against an unborn child. Evans later dropped the charges when they reconciled but the state decided to pursue a few of the charges against him. He and Evans were both arrested for possession of heroin and assault against one another.

"Courtland's mom, Holley, is glad that he's in jail right now because it gives him time to be apart from his wife and think," Yonkers added. "I do not think Jenelle is the whole issue even though I believe she adds to it. While it appears that she has issues as well, I don't blame her one bit for Courtland's behavior. He is a grown man and has to take responsibility for himself."

For now, Rogers and Evans remain apart, but as anyone familiar with their story knows, it could be just a matter of time before they reunite.
