Jennifer Hudson Gives Beyonce Advice on Being a Mom
Beyonce’s “Dreamgirls” costar, fellow actress/singer and mom, Jennifer Hudson, has offered the new mom some words of advice to help with baby Blue Ivy.
Hudson tells Beyonce to savor every moment with her new baby girl, as the time slips from most moms rather quickly.
"Girl, get your sleep!" Hudson said in an interview at a Good Housekeeping press event on Tuesday. "We talked about this when I had my munchkin. It goes so fast. She's going to look up and Blue's going to be six months. Next thing you know, she's going to be walking."
Hudson, 30, welcomed her now 2-year-old son in 2009.
"Embrace it. Especially because of the lives we live, a lot of times other people have to care for themselves and you have to have that mommy time," Hudson said in the Good Housekeeping interview.
After the birth of his first child, Jay-Z, 42, recorded "Glory," a heartfelt tune about he and his wife’s efforts to conceive and the joy of being a father.
"Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven," the happy couple told US Weekly in a statement on Tuesday.
