Knicks Star Jeremy Lin Wins Again, Doesn't Want to Develop 'Ego'

Jeremy Lin, the Asian-American Harvard graduate and devout Christian currently taking the NBA by storm, has officially earned respect in the league after the New York Knicks' seventh straight win on Wednesday.

Lin managed to score a career high 13-assists in the Knicks 100-85 victory against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. One day after Lin managed to sink a game-winning three-point shot against the Toronto Raptors, some top NBA players began to take notice of the phenomenon.

Steven Nash, all-star NBA point guard who some have been comparing to Lin, admitted that he was a fan of the Knicks' newest addition after watching him defeat the Raptors.

"It's crazy! I'm watching Linsanity hoping every shot goes in," Nash tweeted. "Hope I never grow up."

However, he wasn't the only top point guard in the league to take notice of Lin recently. Chris Paul, the most coveted point guard on the 2011-2012 free agency market, also took to Twitter to show his respect for Lin.

"Watching this Knicks vs Raptors game," Paul tweeted. "HUGE shot by @JLin7 #Respect."

Aside from the compliments from his peers, Lin also received flattering remarks from NBA legends and hall-of-famers recently.

Magic Johnson, 12-time all-star who formerly led the NBA in assists per game, became a believer in Lin after watching him clinch the game-winning shot against the Raptors.

"Everyone should be a believer in@Jlin7 after his shot to win the game tonight," Johnson tweeted.

Although the Knicks completed their seventh victory in a row, Lin told the press that does not want to develop an ego.

"I don't want to let anything affect me or this team," Lin said. "We need to stick together, put our egos aside."
