Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson Wedding to Take Place in Los Angeles in 2014? Weight Watchers Star Planning 'Simple' Ceremony

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have reportedly changed their wedding location as an insider claims the couple will now wed in Los Angeles.

In November reports claimed the couple were contemplating a destination wedding in Italy or Hawaii, however, they recently decided to "keep it simple," according to Us magazine.

Simpson, 33, and Johnson, 34, traveled to the Italian island of Capri last year to scout potential wedding venues, but they reportedly felt it would be "too much" to ask friends to travel to Europe, which is why they changed the location. Another insider revealed that an L.A. wedding "is easier to plan ... and less expensive!"

The couple, who share two children 22-month-old Maxwell Drew and 8-month-old Ace Knute Johnson, got engaged in 2011 and they were forced to delay their wedding plans due to Simpson's pregnancies. They are yet to select a wedding venue.

Johnson, who is a former NFL star, proposed to Simpson with a five-carat ruby Neil Lane ring within six months of meeting the former reality star. The couple wants to keep their big day private and relatively small.

"There will probably only be 75 to 100 guests … She wants to have only really close family and friends," a source told OK! Magazine.

The couple reportedly vowed to wed after the birth of their second child. The former country singer celebrated her country-themed baby shower on April 14, 2013 where she reportedly spoke openly about wedding plans.

"[Jessica] was telling friends she wanted to get married a few months after the baby is born," a source said.

Simpson's sister Ashlee and best friend Cacee Cobb will reportedly be among the bridal party.

The mother of two was previously married to singer Nick Lachey.
