Jessica Simpson Wedding: Fashion Mogul to Wear Size Zero Gown?
Jessica Simpson is reportedly just days away from her wedding to Eric Johnson and a new report claims the fashion mogul is going to extreme efforts to ensure that she fits into her wedding gown.
On July 4, the former reality star, 33, will reportedly wed the former NFL star, 34, at the upscale Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, California. Insiders claim that while Simpson has already lost a substantial amount of weight since giving birth to her second child last year, she is on a strict diet and undergoing grueling daily workouts in a bid to look and feel her best on her big day.
"She's been focused on whittling her body down to squeeze into a size 0 wedding dress. She weighs about 94 pounds, and she's subsisting on golf ball size portions of nuts, quinoa and skinless chicken," a source said according to Showbiz Spy.
"On top of that, she's been exercising like a mad woman. She does circuit training in the morning and power walks up to two hours a day," the insider revealed.
The Weight Watchers ambassador, whose weight once peaked at 210 pounds during her first pregnancy, lost more than 60 pounds following the birth of her son Ace, 10 months. She will reportedly showcase her latest weight loss results on her wedding day.
"Jessica wants it to be the hugest, grandest event of the year," a source told In Touch magazine adding that the former singer is "calling it a 'supersize wedding!'"
Simpson will reportedly walk down the aisle in a pale pink, custom-made Marchesa gown. Guests will reportedly feast on traditional southern barbecue, which is fitting considering the bride hails from Texas.
"[It] will feature a barbeque spread and fireworks," the magazine reported.
The Bacara resort, which can accommodate hundreds of people, sits on 78 acres and overlooks the Pacific Ocean. A select number of close friends and family members will gather at the Spanish-themed hotel to witness Simpson marry the father of her two children.
"It'll definitely be extravagant. I don't do things small," Simpson recently told the "Today" show.
