Joe Jonas: First Jonas Brother to Release Solo Album
Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, has branched out on his own and made a solo record called Fast Life released yesterday.
The 22-year-old middle brother of the famous trio, has released his first album and the first solo album of the group in the six years of their popularity.
"About a year and a half ago I sat down with my brothers and said, 'Listen, guys, I want to create something a little bit different than what we’ve been doing. The music I like, it’s just very kind of urban, hip-hop, dance stuff, electronic stuff,” Jonas told Rolling Stone Magazine.

Most importantly, Jonas speaks about needing a record that shows his various styles and was personal toward his life.
"'I’m Sorry' was the number one song that was really a lot to put on the table. It was a really personal song about something I was going through in a relationship," he told Rolling Stone. "To put it all out there and just be that vulnerable is not always easy, but I was really happy with the outcome."
Jonas also reflected on his excitement about touring with Britney Spears and Jojo saying of Britney, “Britney is an incredible artist and she’s been doing it for so long now, to be able to get on the road with her will be a lot of fun.”
The first single for the album, “See No More,” was released in late July with the second single being “Just in Love With You.”
Aside from music, Jonas has also had a small acting career, appearing in the “Camp Rock” movies and a number of sitcoms and cameos in “Hannah Montana,” as well as the Jonas Brothers show “JONAS L.A.”
For his acting work, which usually involves him playing a scripted role of himself, Jonas has been nominated for and won several awards including a “Kids Choice Award for Favorite TV Actor” and an MTV Latin America Award for “Most Fashionable.”
