Justin Bieber Alleged Marijuana Pictures Surface
Justin Bieber, the 19-year-old Canadian crooner, recently appeared in a photograph with a brown cigarette-like item and lighter which is fueling longtime reports that he is a marijuana smoker.
While TMZ is reporting that sources claim the image was graphically enhanced, the website first posted the image of Bieber at a social event with what seems to be a marijuana cigarette in his hand. Although Bieber has yet to speak up about the incident, this is not the first time that the publication has accused him of smoking pot.
Last month TMZ reported that a van Bieber used to travel to a Los Angeles, Calif recording studio also made a stop where a passenger emptied water from a bong, or a contraption used to smoke marijuana.
While it is unclear whether Bieber was the actual user of the contraption used to smoke marijuana, he has been making headlines for his alleged use of the substance throughout 2013. On Jan 2, Bieber was photographed with marijuana at a California hotel, according to TMZ.
He seemingly addressed the matter during a stint on "Saturday Night Live" last February.
In one "SNL" skit, the singer pretended to be the president of entertainer Miley Cyrus' fan club, who is not a fan of Bieber, and used it as an opportunity to inadvertently apologize for being caught with marijuana.
"Miley you're seriously my favorite singer of all time. You're light years better than that douche Justin Bieber," Bieber said while speaking to a fictional Cyrus played by comedian Vanessa Bayer. "I heard he still has his baby teeth. I also heard he got busted for smoking weed and he's really sorry about it and that people make mistakes and he's never gonna do it again."
Lil Twist, a Young Money rapper who regularly drives his famed friend Bieber's car, has been arrested for a DUI because of his marijuana use in the vehicle earlier this year. Despite speculation about his marijuana use, Bieber's mother Pattie Mallette has defended her son amid criticism.
"I definitely think he's getting a bad rap ... He knows what I disagree with, and he knows all the things that I'm really proud of him for, too," Mallette previously told Bravo TV host Andy Cohen. "I mean, people don't talk about all the great things he does every day."
