Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez 'Going Strong' at MTV Award Show, Despite 'Baby Mama' Rumors
Gomez to host award show; Bieber accepting award for charity work
Despite the rumors over Justin Bieber allegedly being the father of Maria Yeater's baby, the pop idol's relationship with fellow teen star, Selena Gomez, appears to be going strong, with the two making a joint appearance at an MTV event in Belfast.
Bieber is in Northern Ireland to accept the first MTV Voices award, which will be to recognize the launch of Bieber's Believe Charity Drive, a project that rallies fans to raise money for charities around the world.
After accepting the award, Bieber tweeted to fans: "Just received my first EMA this year ... got the award for our charity work. I say OUR because we do it together."
According to MTV, Bieber has also been active in fundraising for Pencils With Promise, which helps to build schools for children who do not have access to education.
Gomez will be hosting the Sunday MTV Voices award show, which will be broadcast live from Belfast, in which Bieber will be performing with Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, David Guetta, LMFAO, and Coldplay.
Holding hands while photographers snapped photos of the young couple, Bieber and Gomez have been the topic of conversation ever since Maria Yeater made allegations that the "Baby" singer is the father of her baby. It has also been reported that Yeater previously accused her ex-boyfriend, John Terranova, of being the father, as well.
"For a second I believed [Yeater], then I went and talked to my grandma who said no sweetie that's not possible so when I went back to her she tried to say she got pregnant before she left," Terranova said, explaining that the timing made it impossible for him to be the father.
