Justin Bieber Barred From Club for Shuffle Dance? (VIDEO)

Justin Bieber was reportedly barred from a Manchester nightclub on Feb. 22 because he "shuffles" on stage.

Sankeys nightclub, which made the claims via the venue's Twitter page, allegedly refused the singer entry due to the eighties style dance routine. Shuffling encompasses fast heel-toe movements, gliding and swiveling in conjunction with eighties dance routines such as the moonwalk and the robot.

"Yes the rumours are true, we turned Justin Bieber away. He shuffles on stage and we can't be having that in Sankeys now can we," Sankeys tweeted.

Bieber, 19, is currently halfway through his UK "Believe" tour and after performing a show at the MEN arena in Manchester on Thursday the singer reportedly wanted to unwind at a local night spot. However he is yet to address the alleged incident.

"MANCHESTER… i like u. doing it again tomorrow. #BELIEVEtour," Bieber tweeted after the show.

Hollywoodlife.com quoted an alleged source as saying there is "no truth at all" to Sankeys' claims. One blog claimed that Bieber was barred due to his recent marijuana smoking scandal, although this is also said to be untrue.

Bieber has been mired n controversy in recent weeks following the release of photographs which show the singer holding a suspicious looking cigarette. The singer recently appeared to address the smoking scandal on Twitter after receiving widespread criticism.

"Everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up," Bieber tweeted Jan. 5.

Another cryptic tweets read, "i see all of u. i hear all of u...i never want to let any of you down. i love u. and..thank u...like i said...2013...new challenges. new doubters...Im ready."
