Justin Bieber Making Dubstep Music
Justin Bieber is back in the studio and experimenting with a new sound for his next album.
The 17-year-old superstar is trying his hand with dubstep -- the London-born genre of electronic dance music.
In an interview with USA Today, Bieber admitted that he was "experimenting" with different musical trends from across the world.
"I'm about halfway through," explained the singer. "What's big right now are beats that are in the clubs, like dubstep. So I want to mess with that stuff, but also stay me."
Bieber has already confirmed that the upcoming album, "Believe," will include artists such as Drake and Kanye West.
On Tuesday, the singer took to Twitter updating his fans on the new album."start (sic) recording full time for #BELIEVE today. let the fun begin! #newmusic," Bieber wrote.
He added to his Twitter account, "Well hello there," followed by writing "#studio," informing fans his work on the album had begun.
"Believe" will be Bieber's third album, following "My World 2.0" and his Christmas album "Under the Mistletoe."
According to MTV News, the 18-year-old artist Lil Twist and Bieber are expected to release a single soon.
"We're getting ready to drop that record 'Wherever You Are' real soon," said Lil Twist speaking to MTV News on Tuesday. "Ya'll will have that real soon."
Lil Twist noted that, "It's a fun record, Justin killed it -- he's like rap-singing on it; another different sound for Justin."
The Grammy-nominated singer is not only changing his sound on "Believe," but Bieber admitted recently that he is growing up.
Speaking to V magazine, Bieber explained, "People need to know I'm not a kid anymore. But at the end of the day, I'm not completely grown up. I'm still learning. I'm going to grow up how I grow up."
The singer, who is outspoken about his faith, went on to explain that "it's all about making good music" and that he credits Jesus for his success.
"I believe that He put me in this position," Bieber said. "And that I have to always give Him the glory He deserves for putting me here."
"Believe" is expected to drop in summer 2012.
