Justin Bieber Talks 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Role Months After Selena Gomez

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have both reportedly been speaking about the possibility of starring in the raunchy novel-turned-big screen adaptation "Fifty Shades of Grey."

Bieber, 18, recently appeared on British talk show "The Jonathan Ross Show" where he admitted that he was asked to star in the movie.

"They actually want me to be in the movie!" Justin exclaimed on the show.

The Fifty Shades of Grey novel revolves around Christian Grey, an older billionaire who attempts to get the younger virgin Anastasia Steele to perform eyebrow raising intimate acts.

However, the teenage pop star later admitted, "I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding," concerning him taking on a role in the film adaptation of the novel.

Talk show host Jonathan Ross attempted to picture how Bieber would fit into the movie version of the raunchy novel, saying, "Christian Grey: His Adventures As a Boy."

Bieber is not the only pop star talking about the potential of starring in New York Times bestselling author E.L. James' "Fifty Shades of Grey" big screen adaptation. Bieber's girlfriend Selena Gomez, 20, starred in a "Funny or Die" skit that poked fun of the raunchy novel earlier this year.

Gomez, a former Disney star, admitted that she decided to read the book after agreeing to star in the skit.

"When they told me about the skit, I didn't know what [the book] was about, so I started to read it and was like, oh, this is spicy, I thought it was good, it was intriguing," she told MTV News earlier this year. "The skit was really funny."

However, Gomez said she had a hard time seeing herself taking on such a risky role.

"I know I'm taking risks but I don't think I could do that," Gomez said of the role. "That would be a little too much for me. I think someone older should do that part."
