In a surprising twist, Cuoco went against bridal tradition and opted for a pink gown that appeared to have a full skirt.

Just before the wedding, the actress shared a photo taken of her with girlfriends on a hike.

Cuoco and her new husband are no strangers to social media, and the couple have documented their romance with pictures posted of their engagement party, a vacation to the Bahamas, and several other outings together.

Meanwhile, the wedding was the first for both Cuoco and Sweeting, a tennis player. The pair had been introduced through a mutual friend and had only been dating for three months when they got engaged in October.

Amidst news of the whirlwind engagement, Cuoco admitted that it seems "a little crazy."

"From day one I just knew immediately and it's been magic," the 27-year-old told Entertainment Tonight. "We have all the same family friends. We grew up with the same people, we just never met. So I kind of feel that I've known him my whole life. I know that seems a little crazy on paper, but it's what works for us."

Just before their wedding, Cuoco and Sweeting spent Christmas with Cuoco's parents Layne Ann and Gary when the actress gifted them a new car.

The star was photographed at her parents' home after a Lexus RX350 with a red bow on top arrived, according to E! News.

According to the photos, Cuoco's gift caught her parents off guard since they clearly looked surprised and toasted the present with champagne.
