Kanye West Blasts 'Jealous' Ray J Over Kim Kardashian Diss Song? (AUDIO)
Kanye West is said to be furious over a song released by R&B singer Ray J targeting reality TV star Kim Kardashian.
Ray J, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., debuted the controversial song "I Hit It First" Saturday, which references his and Kardashian's 2007 adult film. The videotape helped launch Kardashian's career and the singer appears to take a dig at West, who is expecting a child with the reality TV star.
"She might move on to rappers and ball players / But we all know I hit it first," Ray J sings in the lewd song.
West, who has a history of using his music to take shots at others, appears to be getting a taste of his own medicine. In his controversial song "Way Too Cold" West professed his love for Kardashian while also taking a jab at her estranged husband basketball player Kris Humphries.
"And I'll admit, I fell in love with Kim / 'Round the same time she had fell in love wit' him / Well, that's cool, baby girl, do ya thing / Lucky I ain't have Jay drop him from the team," West rapped.
The rapper is still however said to be infuriated over Ray J's song and allegedly believes that the 32-year-old singer simply wants attention.
"Ray J is crazy" for releasing a song that overtly disses Kanye and Kim, a source close to West reportedly told HollywoodLife.com.
"Kanye don't condone broke a--, jealous [guys] who be trying to bite off he and Kim's fame just to stay, wait, just to become relevant," the source said.
West, 35, is not expected to directly respond to Ray J's song, with a source claiming both the rapper and Kardashian, 31, are taking the high road.
"Tell him to call [Kanye] when he gets to the $100-million mark. Cause guess what— [Kanye] 'hit that' first," the insider sniped.
This is not the first time the Kardashian's controversial past has angered West. In 2012 the "Mercy" rapper, who allegedly refuses to watch Kardashian's infamous tape, reportedly lost his cool and went "crazy" when his friends began teasing him about it, according to OK! magazine.
"For all his bad-boy image, he's quite old-fashioned and [while they were still just friends] he thought it inappropriate to view Kim's tape. Now that they are a couple, there's no way Kanye's ever going to look at it," a source told OK!
"When some of his buddies were teasing him about it over a few beers just recently, he went crazy and told them in no uncertain terms that the subject was completely off limits. At first they thought he was joking, but he was deadly serious. Kanye never, ever wants to see the tape, and he has banned anyone in his entourage from even talking about it," the insider explained.
