Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to Settle Case With Heckler After Accusations of Assault?
Kanye West is reportedly settling with the teenager that he allegedly assaulted for heckling his reality television star fiancee Kim Kardashian.
West, the 36-year-old rap mogul, was named as the individual who assaulted an 18-year-old male in a Beverly Hills, Calif. chiropractic office earlier this month. The unnamed antagonist reportedly made West's "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star fiance uncomfortable after he began calling members of the paparazzi who were berating her by racial slurs, TMZ reported.
After she told him not to do so, the male then released a racially charged epithet about Kardashian and West. When West arrived on the scene, he reportedly punched the male in the face, TMZ reported.
Now, the publication has reported that the rap mogul has decided to reach a civil settlement with the teenager in the form of over $250,000.
Sources reportedly told the publication that while law enforcement officials are unsure of how to charge West in the matter, the teenager will not move forward with his criminal prosecution if he is paid off by the rap mogul.
Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian's manager and mother, previously spoke up about the alleged assault that took place when her future son in law reportedly used physical force to defend her daughter from a racist heckler.
While Jenner, 58, was out of town when the physical altercation that is under investigation took place, she told 2DayFM about the verbal assault aimed at her 33-year-old daughter engaged to West.
Jenner said the reports that have been floating around sound like the account that she heard from her family.
"That sounds a lot like what I heard... I do know how it started was this person was got really, a lot of racial, hateful, horrible things that he was saying and I think that's where it started," she told 2DayFM. "I'm not so sure how it ended... but somebody got really out of line."
