Karrueche Tran Defends Herself Against Anti-Rihanna Shirt

Karrueche Tran, 24-year-old designer of upcoming clothing line "The Kill" who made headlines for dating Chris Brown, is defending herself after recently being pictured with a t-shirt that some may find offensive to singer Rihanna.

Tran was recently included in a picture posted on Instagram where she posed next to a woman wearing a shirt that said "Hi Karrueche." While a picture of Tran was featured on the shirt, her name was written in red where the name Rihanna was crossed out in the color red.

A number of people took to Twitter to question Tran's involvement in the creation of the t-shirt that was featured at a party celebrating her upcoming clothing line.

"Karrueche (is) corny as hell for taking that picture with her friend who has that Hi Rihanna shirt on. with her name scribbled on it...," one person tweeted.

Another person questioned if Tran had ill intentions when she took a picture next to the person wearing the shirt.

"Did Chris Brown's ex Karrueche Tran take a jab at @rihanna posing with a fan who had on a 'Hi Rihanna' tee," the person questioned.

However, Tran recently defended herself against the claims on her Twitter account.

"I have absolutely no involvement w any shirt w my picture on it nor are they apart of The Kill. I think that's kind of corny, no disrespect. But I'd never produce a shirt like that," Tran tweeted. "I have no control of what other people do."

In a recent interview with Atlanta's Streetz 94.5 radio station, Tran assured fans that her clothing line would soon be made available for purchase.

"Everybody is like 'Where's your line? Where's all the stuff' and I'm like 'I'm sorry but it's coming'" Tran said. "I promise you, it's really dope and everybody will love it. Just give me some time."
