Kate Middleton Gets DJ Lessons with Prince William in Adelaide (VIDEO)
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited a suburb of Adelaide, Australia on Wednesday where they got a lesson in deejaying at a youth music center.
Also known as Kate Middleton, Duchess Catherine and her husband, Prince William, are making the final stops along their three-week royal tour, which started in New Zealand and wraps up in Australia. While visiting the Adelaide suburb of Elizabeth, the royal couple performed non-traditional royal activities such as deejaying and watching skateboarding and BMX demonstrations.
Kate was the first to hit the decks during the visit to the Northern Sound System -- a community-run youth music center. The Duchess tried her hand at scratching records at the hip-hop school before William also approached the turntables and spinned a set of DJ decks.
"It's all yours," William told his wife when they first approached the turntables, according to the Daily Mail.
"Williams' got lots more experience than I have," the duchess answered laughingly.
The royal couple was coached by DJ Shane Peterer who commented on the Duchess' DJ'ing skills surpassing those of her husband.
"She was fantastic but he can fly a helicopter," he said, according to the Daily Mail. "So horses for courses."
The Duke and Duchess spent two hours in Adelaide where they also watched skateboarders, BMX and scooter riders. William even added to a sky mural with spray paint along the visit. Moreover, the pair, who are parents to nine-month-old Prince George, accepted a gift of a personalized skateboard for their son from the city of Playford's Mayor Glenn Docherty.
Meanwhile, one day earlier, Kate answered questions about Prince George during a stop in Uluru. The duchess not only assured the crowd that the baby prince was being well cared for during their trip, but that future king of England is being very well fed.
"We asked if they missed him," Shannon Hunt, who was among the schoolgirls speaking to Kate, according to People.com. "Kate said: 'He's been changing so much while we've been away.' Kate also said he grew an extra fat roll while they're away."
