Kate Middleton Hairstylist Fired for Selling Duchess' Photos for Business

The hairdresser who styled the Duchess of Cambridge's hair for her wedding and went on the North American tour with her has reportedly been fired from his position after a security breach, reports state. James Pryce allegedly used photos of Kate Middleton in his portfolio on Facebook and Twitter, which violated his trust with Middleton and the Palace.

"When he went solo and tried to tour around the USA – he launched a Facebook page and Twitter account which featured hundreds of pictures of Kate and her various hairstyles to promote his business – obviously, that did not go down too well with the Palace at all," a source explained to The Telegraph U.K.

However, the Duchess still has the remaining members of her styling entourage.

"Richard Ward still cuts Kate's hair and she has her color done at the salon. Plus, she has her stylist, Amanda Cook Tucker, who blow dries her hair for events, but James has really been pushed out," the insider said.

Ward was the lead stylist for the wedding and helped give Pryce his big break and entry into the world of the royals. Pryce cut ties with Ward and wanted to open his own salon but wound up working at another salon in Holland Park. Ward sang Middleton's praises during her wedding and noted that it would be a great relationship between the two.

"She's been an absolute poppet. All the time," he told The Telegraph. "Really. I know you would expect me to say that, but she's amazing. And that's why we are going to be in safe hands with her because she's just so amazing with people."

Much has been made of Middleton's hair recently, with her gray roots showing through at an event and then the Duchess looking somewhat disheveled and tired. It could be, though, that Middleton is simply adjusting to life as a new mother and cutting back on the royal treatment.
