Ke$ha Makeover Shocks Fans with Ladylike Appearance
Ke$ha has once again drawn attention to one of her shocking new looks. This time however, that look isn't shocking because it's extreme, it's shocking because it's not.
Ke$ha recently posed for Glamour magazine in a decidedly feminine pose, wearing her long blonde hair in a ponytail with a casual, shoulder revealing top. The new look comes as shocking because the singer is known for her extreme looks, some that include wild face paint, Mohawks, or heavy amount of make up.

The singer herself however, said that she wasn't at all intimidated by the reaction that the photos might warrant. She told Glamour magazine that she supported her fans not caring about what others thoughts. "I'm not really worried about the photographs because if I tell my fans not to give a **** about the haters, then I have to practice what I preach. I embrace the imperfections and celebrate them," Ke$ha said.
The 24-year-old singer, songwriter, and rapper originally adopted the dollar sign in her name when she was struggling to break into the industry and had to work as a waitress to earn money. Her first studio album "Animal" hit number one on Billboard 200 when it was released in 2010.
The singer, who recently updated the look of her Twitter account, also reported working on a new song. "wrote + recorded a new song today" she wrote yesterday on Twitter.
Ke$ha also hit on her sense of humor with the magazine. "I'm just very amused by five-year-old humor," the star told Glamour. "Don't get me wrong: I do destroy men on a weekly basis. It's like a hobby," she continued adding that making fun of men was sometimes her go to pick-me-up.
Some fans suggested that Ke$ha's new look was a huge step up from her usually extreme one. "In my personal opinion, she is beautiful without her crazy make-up, hair-do's and outfits," Tessa wrote on the Hollywood Gossip blog. "Honestly, I believe she would have many more fans if she dressed like she did on the left picture."
"Also, she must learn it is not attractive 'nor is it lady-like to use such (foul) language and compare her outrageousness to five year old humor," Tessa added.
