Kelly Clarkson Wedding Gown Revealed Engagement Photo?
Kelly Clarkson continues to bask in the happiness of her impending nuptials to Brandon Blackstock and even shared a special engagement photo this week.
The 31-year-old singer took to Twitter revealing herself as a bride on Friday.
"Ok, just saw my engagement shoot pics & I have to share one," the singer excitedly posted to Twitter before thanking members of her team.
In the photo, Clarkson donned a billowing white tulle bridal gown while perched in a library window with a book on her lap. It is not yet known if the gown will be Clarkson's on her actual wedding day.
"Ready to #TieItUp," she added to Twitter.
Nevertheless, Blackstock has not yet seen his bride's dress, which Clarkson said is "my personality in a dress," according to People magazine.
"It's sweetly damaged," the singer explained. "A little rock-n-roll. A little tattered."
The "Don't You Wanna Stay" singer began dating Blackstock last year, and the pair became engaged on Dec. 14. He is the stepson of singer Reba McEntire through her marriage to Clarkson's manager, Narvel Blackstock.
As for the wedding ceremony, Clarkson divulged some major details earlier this year. Although the "Stronger" singer did not reveal the exact date, she promised that she would "not going to be a bridezilla" while speaking to People magazine.
Further proving her relaxed attitude about the big day, the singer said she was "going to be the exact opposite" of an uptight bride.
"I'm going to be like, Oh, the cake fell of the porch, that's fine, that's cool,'" explained the Grammy Award-winning singer. "'Cool, something's on fire, cool, whatever, we'll move it. We'll get married over there.' I'm going to be that girl."
Clarkson noted that her tranquil attitude is in part attributed to her extreme happiness.
"I never really thought I'd get married, so it's kind of cool that I fell in love and I'm getting married," she said.
Despite having known each other for years, Clarkson and Blackstock did not end up together until last February last year.
"Brandon is my manager's son," Clarkson once explained to the Daily Mail. "I've known him for six years but he was married. Then, suddenly, there he was at the Super Bowl and he was single."
