Kelly Osbourne Apologizes to Lady Gaga, Feud Over?

The long-lasting feud between Kelly Osbourne and Lady Gaga may finally be over after an apology issued this week.

On Monday, 29-year-old Osbourne apologized to the "Born This Way" singer for acting childish over a birthday cake.

"@ladygaga I acted like a child last night," the television personality began via Twitter. "Just not into publicity stunts call me & we will end this like adults I don't want 2 fight anymore"

The feud between Osbourne and Gaga began when Osbourne commented on Gaga's weight in 2009. Consequently, Gaga's fans issued death threats to Osbourne, and after Kelly's mother Sharon Osbourne got involved, accusations of bullying and attention seeking were cast from all sides.

Then, tension between the stars mounted on Osbourne's birthday over the weekend. After running into Kelly's mother Sharon in the U.K., Gaga seemingly tried to make amends with a birthday cake. However, the gesture seemed to only enrage Kelly.

"Not to be ungrateful but why would you send me a birthday cake via my MOTHER in a country half the (world) away? #JustSendItToME #LoveNotWar," the "Fashion Police" star posted to Twitter.

Furthermore, Osbourne's post to Instagram was even more contentious.

"#EatMySh-- #Hypocrisy," the daughter of Ozzy Osbourne posted to the social media site along with a photo of the birthday cake from Gaga.

In response, Gaga posted, "I didn't know it was your B-day until this afternoon. Meant as a peace offering. Happy Birthday," along with a photo featuring Sharon Osbourne and the cake reading "Happy Birthday Kelly."

Despite the attempt to make amends, Gaga still had to curtail comments made by her defensive fans, whom she calls "monsters," as they were attacking Osbourne.

"Monsters, please just focus on the positive of tonight's performance and do not send any hateful messages," Gaga wrote on Twitter over the weekend. "I don't support it. #SpreadLove"

Meanwhile, both famous females have legions of fans, and therefore, the potential to display a fine example of setting aside your differences and appreciating one another.
