Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom Robbed Amid Divorce? $250,000 Jewelry Vanishes From Marital Home
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom reportedly had $250,000 worth of jewelry stolen from their former marital home.
The estranged couple moved out of their Tarzana, Calif. marital home last year ahead of Kardashian's December divorce filing and a new report claims they are the victims of a recent jewelry heist. Thieves reportedly got away with thousands of dollars in watches and gold chains and police suspect tradesmen, who have been renovating the home in recent weeks, may be involved, according to TMZ.com.
The luxury home was recently sold to "Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco for $5.5 million and the theft was discovered by Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner during a clean up in preparation for Cuoco's move in.
Kardashian, 29, and Odom, 35, purchased their 7-bedroom, 9-bathroom house for $3.9 million in 2009, just two months after they wed in a lavish ceremony. They wed in a televised ceremony one month after meeting each other.
The reality TV star is believed to have bought a new home in Hidden Hills, where Jenner lives. She and the NBA star separated in August last year in the wake of cheating rumors and their divorce is ongoing.
"Khloe already bought a new home. Her mom is right up the street!" a source told Us magazine.
Kardashian, who no longer wears her wedding ring, recently revealed that she is eager to move forward with her life and the new luxury home will undoubtedly assist her in doing so.
"I love the new year, new beginnings. I need a good fresh start; I'm excited for this year to be over with," Kardashian told Cosmopolitan UK after her divorce filing.
"You only live once so let's make that one time perfect. We can't fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let's have fun. You get what you give out in life," she explained.
