Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Vogue Cover Photo Defended By Friend Against Sarah Michelle Gellar Criticism
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West recently graced the cover of Vogue magazine, and now one of her best friends is defending the moment amid criticism.
Kardashian, the 33-year-old reality television star, and her rap mogul fiance Kanye West,36, are featured on the cover of the Vogue April issue. While everyone did not agree with the honor being granted to the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star, actress Sarah Michelle, 36, Gellar made sure she tweeted about her disapproval.
"Well......I guess I'm canceling my Vogue subscription," Gellar tweeted. "Who is with me???"

Jonathan Cheban, one of Kim's best friends and a public relations professional, responded to Gellar's tweet by writing, "do you matter?"
Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue, defended putting Kardashian on the cover.
"There's barely a strand of the modern media that the Kardashian Wests haven't been able to master, and for good reason," Wintour wrote in the April Vogue editor's letter. "Kanye is an amazing performer and cultural provocateur, while Kim, through her strength of character, has created a place for herself in the glare of the world's spotlight, and it takes real guts to do that."
Kardashian expressed her excitement for the opportunity to appear in Vogue.
"This is such a dream come true," she tweeted. "Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover!"
West also tweeted his appreciation by writing, "#TRILL Thank you @voguemagazine."
Last year, the rap mogul spoke about how much his fiance influences fashion while on the Ryan Seacrest radio show.
"There's no way Kim Kardashian shouldn't be on the cover of Vogue. She's like the most intriguing woman right now," West told Seacrest. "She's got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday. And collectively, we're the most influential with clothing."
West previously explained why he believes his reality television star fiance Kim Kardashian is famous.
"People used to be like, 'What is she talented for?' She is talented at being beautiful," West revealed on Big Boy's Neighborhood on Los Angeles' Power 106. "If you go to a club and it's a bunch of beautiful girls you may say it's a bunch of talent in here."
