Kim Kardashian and Kanye's 73 Days Together Officially Longer Than Her Marriage
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have now officially been dating for longer than she was married to NBA star Kris Humphries. The pair have been dating for at least 73 days, which beats the 72 day marriage Kardashian had with Humphries before she decided to divorce.
It was 73 days when Kardashian first stepped out in public holding hands with music star Kanye West, and although they've never actually confirmed their relationship, it is well known that they are dating as a couple.
The celeb gossip mags first got wind of the two getting together when West released "Way Too Cold" in April 2012. In that track West sings that he fell in love with Kim.
That sparked wild rumors about a relationship developing, but the two celebrities did not confirm anything. However, on April 23 they were spotted together at the opening of Kim's brother-in-law's new restaurant opening in New York City.
That seemed to confirm the two were dating, and there was little doubt the following day when they went out in public again together, this time in SoHo.
Many have been surprised as how quickly Kardashian moved on from her divorce to Humphries, and that has done nothing to dampen rumors that the entire marriage to Humphries was just one big publicity stunt. This is a rumor Humphries himself assigns to, and he has publicly claimed that Kardashian was just using him to boost her ratings.
Kardashian has denied those accusations and has insisted she simply fell in love and back out of love. She has tried to put that broken marriage behind her and is now seemingly very happy with her new boyfriend Kanye West.
The reality TV star has remained tight lipped about her relationship however, and is conducting her love life in a much more cautious way since her split with Humphries. On the Today Show, Kardashian told Ann Curry when asked about her relationship with West: "I completely respect and understand that you have to ask these questions, but I've said before, Kanye and I have been friends for years. You know, you never know what the future holds or where my life will take me."
