Kim Kardashian and Sister Kourtney Mock Kris Humphries on 'Letterman' (VIDEO)
Kim Kardashian appeared on the "Late Show with David Letterman" with her sister Kourtney on Wednesday and the reality stars were left in fits of laughter after mocking NBA star Kris Humphries.
Kim, who is said to be furious that Humphries has still not signed divorce papers more than a year after she served him, is currently expecting a child with another man- rapper Kanye West. Letterman, in his characteristically unshy questioning method, asked Kim whether rumors were true about her marrying Humphries for publicity as the 28-year-old reportedly claims.
"I think if she was going to do it for publicity, she'd pick someone that people knew," Kourtney blurted to roaring applause. Kim giggled in response to the snide remark and evidently could not contain her laughter.
Humphries, who was reportedly blindsided by Kim's 2011 divorce filing, is said to be insisting on an annulment of their 72-day marriage based of fraud. The E! reality star reportedly made millions after selling filming rights to their over-the-top nuptials, which previously led many critics to question Kim's motives.
"The only way that this case won't go to trial is if Kim publicly apologizes to Kris and admits that she only married him for television ratings," a source previously explained to RadarOnline.com.
"Kris just wants the truth to come out and Kim is just absolutely livid that she isn't getting her own way. Kris wants Kim to answer questions about their relationship, under oath," the source added.
In a more upbeat interview with the E! network, Kim gushed about expecting a baby with West, 34, who she reportedly considers to be the "the love of my life." She was asked whether her baby's name will also start with the letter "K" to follow Kardashian family tradition.
"We're not sure yet [we] have to think about [it]," Kim told E!, adding that she would "have to discuss that with my boyfriend to see where we are. But we'll keep the name private, I think, whenever we decide."
Kim revealed that due to ongoing litigation, she will still be married to Humphries and although she is said to be "seeing red" over the situation, a new report claims that she and West are currently preparing a commitment ceremony. The event has been described as an unofficial wedding, and they will reportedly exchange wedding rings and vows as a token of their undying love.
"Kanye is very traditional. He'd have liked to marry Kim now they are having a baby but with Kim still married to someone else, there is not much he can do," a source told The Sun U.K.
"It won't be official like a wedding because Kanye wants that to be extra special when the time comes," the source added.
