Kim Kardashian Clothing Style Not Impressing Kanye West? New Mom May Start Baby Fashion Line
New reports are revealing that Kanye West in not impressed with Kim Kardashian's design skills and is worried that her work will reflect poorly on him.
"He opened doors for her where they were once shut, which is great," an insider told Radar Online. "But now he's giving her his two cents on everything and it's driving Kim crazy. The truth of the matter is that he doesn't think Kim has good style and he knows whatever she produces will be a direct reflection on him. He doesn't trust her to do her own thing."
It is interesting due to the fact that West encouraged Kim to create a baby fashion line.
"Kanye encouraged her to pursue her own baby clothes line," the insider added. "He thought it was a great way for her to be taken a little more seriously and cut the cord with her family. He wants her to establish a new career away from reality TV and this is how they think she can do it."
"Kim really threw herself into it because she loves fashion and also because it makes Kanye happy," the source said. "She seems desperate for him to respect her and approve of her."
A fashion designer based out of Los Angeles, Lloyd Klein, has confirmed that Kim Kardashian may have plans to develop a future children's fashion line. But fans, many of whom were critical of the reality star's fashion decisions while she was pregnant, have offered mixed reaction to the news.
"If it is anything like the KKollection at Sears, and if having any influence made upon it by Kayne (who has no fashion sense), and considering KK's maternity wardrobe the line will be a flop. The name Kardashian really isn't a brand the majority of Americans run out to own," one user wrote on the Daily Mail blog.
This would not be Kardashian's first attempt at fashion design. The Kardashian sisters attempted to release a clothing line at Sears in 2011. The line, however, did not appear to be a success. It was ranked 6 out of 11 on Beauty Riots "Major Celeb Clothing Line Fails."
