Kim Kardashian Fears Pregnancy is Bad for Business?
Kim Kardashian is reportedly concerned that her pregnancy will affect her brand. The reality TV star is said to be fearful that having a baby could be bad for her business.
Kardashian, who is renowned for cashing in on seemingly endless endorsement deals, is reportedly "nervous" about the affect that pregnancy will have on her income. The 31-year-old is said to be determined to work throughout her pregnancy regardless of the toll that stress puts on her body.
"Kim is nervous about her money-making abilities once she gets super pregnant," a source told Life & Style magazine.
"She doesn't care how much stress [working] puts on her body; she wants to make the money [now]," the source said adding "She'll go anywhere."
The E! reality TV star is regularly photographed wearing skimpy, figure-hugging outfits and fans often hail the Armenian socialite for embracing her curves in the weight-conscious entertainment industry. Maternity wear is not traditionally perceived to be sexy, but Kardashian, who is said to be 16 weeks along in her pregnancy, may eventually be forced to wear a more conservative clothing style.
"Kim is a bit worried that having a baby will affect her sexy brand image she's built up over the years," the source explained. "She's worried she won't be asked to make club appearances — her bread and butter — once she gets huge or becomes a mom."
The news follows reports that Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner allegedly has a different view regarding pregnancy and business dealings. Kardashian's 56-year-old mom and manager is reportedly more optimistic about her daughter's pregnancy.
"[Kris'] been waiting for this news for a long time," an insider told OK! Magazine referring to Kim's pregnancy.
Jenner reportedly plans to "cash in by marketing baby products with weight loss endorsements when Kim wants to get back into shape after her pregnancy," according to the source.
