Kim Kardashian Refuses to Sit Next to Joan Rivers?
Kim Kardashian is rumored to have requested that her seat be moved away from comedian Joan Rivers at the 2014 NBC Universal Upfronts.
While various television personalities attended the NBC Universal event that previewed the shows which are scheduled to premiere next fall, Us Weekly is reporting that the 33-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star and her sister Khloe did not want to sit next to Rivers,80.
"Khloe and Kim were seated next to Joan Rivers, but they had them move her," a source reportedly told Us Weekly.
Rivers previously called Kim's 11-month-old daughter North West "ugly" in a standup comedy routine. When Radar Online reported about Rivers' comments, the comedian took to Twitter to defend herself.
"Also @radar_online, I'm a comic. Please stop pulling my jokes out of context," Rivers tweeted last January. "I love Kim, North and all the Kardashians. So shut up already!"
However, the reported source told Us Weekly that Kardashian has encountered Rivers at The Jimmy Fallon show without any issue since the comment was made.
"They even took a pic together when Joan asked," the source reportedly told Us Weekly.
Rivers has also poked fun of Kardashian's adult tape with her ex-boyfriend and singer Ray J by creating a fake video of her own. She has also spoken about the patriarch of the Kardashian family, Bruce Jenner.
For this reason, Us Weekly is reporting that Kim and Khloe refused to sit next to the comedian.
"Kim and Khloe both don't want drama and can't fake it anymore with Joan, so they asked the staff to keep them separate," the source reportedly told Us. "Apparently it was a hard task because two other people have issues with her and also asked to be seated away from her. It was a juggling act keeping Joan away from everyone!"
Despite the reports, an E! spokesperson has said the claims are not true, according to Us Weekly.
