Kim Kardashian's First Husband Joining Khloe on 'X Factor'; Openly Criticized Her After Divorce

Khloe Kardashian will reportedly be joined by her sister Kim's first husband Damon Thomas on season two of "The X Factor," as the reality TV star has been confirmed as a new co-host.

Kardashian, 28, will co-host the reality singing competition show with renowned TV host Mario Lopez and while she is said to be thrilled about her new gig, a potentially awkward run-in with Thomas, who divorced Kim in 2004, threatens to overshadow the entire show. Thomas will reportedly join the show as a mentor to the show's contestants.

Thomas, a renowned music producer, was married to Kim, 31, for four years before they eventually parted ways and he has openly spoken about their relationship through the media often painting the twice married E! reality star as a fame obsessed woman with no morals.

"She can't write or sing or dance, so she does harmful things in order to validate herself in the media. That's a fame-w---- to me. It's just not cool at all," Thomas told In Touch magazine during a 2010 interview.

"Kim is obsessed with fame. Jealousy is a big thing [with Kim]," he went on adding that when he knew her, Kim would "do whatever it takes" in order to get ahead.

Thomas, who has reportedly worked with a number of Hollywood stars including singer Pink and Babyface, and Kardashian could become ratings boosters for the show which is constantly competing with "American Idol."

"We're sure Simon [Cowell] is going to have great fun with this," a source reportedly told RadarOnline.com. "You know the tension is going to be unbelievable between Khloe and Damon."

Other big names include Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid, who recently joined the show's all-star judges panel. Kardashian and Lopez will begin their hosting gigs in early November.
