'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date: 'Daybreak Town' Out With 2017 Release

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is rumored to include "Daybreak Town" in the game's 3D version when it is released in 2017.

Updates on "Kingdom Hearts 3" have been scarce lately, so rumors about the game have multiplied. In a YouTube video on the making of the game for a D23 event, the Gamers Joint discussed the possibility of a "Daybreak Town" inclusion, according to Realty Today.

In the D23 clip shown in early November, game developer Square Enix reportedly took in a "Daybreak Town" 3D version. Gaming Bolt says the only reason for this move is the inclusion of that game in the upcoming release of "Kingdom Hearts 3," the report details.

Another rumor shared by Vine Report says "Kingdom Hearts 3" may also feature characters from Marvel and Star Wars. However, game director Tetsuya Nomura says this may prove to be a difficult task because Disney has a lot of limitations, the report relays.

Meanwhile, a new list of new titles that will be available on Amazon.com for pre-order has been leaked recently and "Kingdom Hearts 3" is one of them. The list, which labels the game with a $59.99 tag, hints that the game will be launched in 2016 although it still has not been verified, The Venture Capital Post says, citing a Latinos Post report.

Square Enix also revealed a few details about the new mechanics of the game during a recent Q&A forum, says Pixel Dynamo. Lead game designer Yuji Kenichiro reportedly said players can now cripple their large monsters and other enemies by targeting vulnerable parts of their body.

As of now, "Kingdom Hearts 3" is still being developed. While Square Enix still has not confirmed the rumored release date for the game, the game is expected to be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC either by the end of 2016 or early 2017.
