Kris Humphries to Become 'Mr. Kim Kardashian'
NBA star and future new addition to the Kardashian clan, Kris Humphries, is set to marry his American reality television star love Kim Kardashian over the weekend.
The future Mr. Kardashian and his bride to be made headlines just a few months ago when he proposed to the star in her Beverly Hills home with an engagement ring worth $2 million.
Humphries is a Minnesota born and bred basketball star with two older sisters. He attended the University of Minnesota and was drafted into the NBA in 2004 by the Utah Jazz.

The future Mr. Kardashian stands at 6 feet 9 inches and has been garnering boatloads of attention since he emerged into the spotlight as Kardashian's boyfriend.
With the couple's wedding looming, the media attention has gone so far as to even compare the basketball star to Prince William.
One report in the International Business Times suggests that the future Mr. Kardashian is similar to the Duke of Cambridge because the both attended university near their hometowns, both are athletic, and both popped the question to the women they love with lavish rings.
Kim’s younger sister Khole even said of the wedding, “It's going to be royal wedding number 2.”
Nevertheless, with all the media attention surrounding the couple and comparing them to the likes of royalty, some critics opposed to the couple tying the knot have surfaced.
Some of Humphries fans have taken to the internet to discuss their dismay with Kris and Kim's whirlwind romance.
Once such fan, Michael Moraitis, wrote on BleacherReport.com that marrying Kim Kardashian will make Humphries the target of paparazzi wherever he goes and could be the “kiss of death” for his NBA career.
The fan argued, "They say it's important to learn from your history and history shows, you never make it out of a relationship with a Kardashian woman alive."
However, Humphries need not worry, as he will have his teammates by his side on the couple's big day and his New Jersey Nets coach Avery Johnson doesn’t seem to harbor the same concerns for the future of his basketball career.
He told CBS New York that, “Kris is a focused young man and we know he’s real passionate about the game of basketball. The life that he’s leading right now, that’s just a part of this new social media, that’s just a part of his lifestyle.”
