Kris Jenner Gives Giuliana Rancic 'the Greatest' Parenting Advice: Should Rancic Be Cautious?
Mom-to-be Giuliana Rancic is turning to a well-known Hollywood mother for advice about parenting. Rancic recently revealed that Kris Jenner is turning out to be a great mentor who always "gives the greatest advice."
Rancic's baby boy is due in September, and she has taken comfort in having Jenner to talk to.
"She's like my second mother," Rancic told Us Weekly. "Kris gives me the greatest advice. You'll email her one question, one line, and she'll respond in four paragraphs. She's the most thorough, amazing woman."
The two met through their work on E! Entertainment, where Rancic is a frequent host and Jenner's family has their own series, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." Jenner is the mother, of course, to daughters Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie, and son Rob. She is also the grandmother to Mason and Penelope, who was born earlier this month.
Rancic has publicly struggled with fertility and decided to use a surrogate. She and husband Bill have expressed a great deal of excitement over the birth of their first child.
"I hope I'm half as good a dad as my dad was to me," Bill told Us Weekly. "My dad was very patient. He never forced me to do anything, but he encouraged me to do it."
Jenner is already at work spoiling baby Rancic, sending him presents from the London Olympics.
"I thought, 'wow my kid is going to have an Olympic shirt from Bruce Jenner?' That's pretty cool. And she sent baby's first golf clubs! Bill died when he saw that," Rancic explained.
Of course, there is some question about what advice Jenner is giving to Rancic. She is the manager of her children's high-profile careers, which have caused a bit of controversy. Kim's short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries was thought to have been a publicity stunt arranged by the Kardashian family.
And there has been one report that Jenner "immediately started trying to make money off the baby [Penelope], literally from the moment she was conceived! Kris was relentless and started taking photos with the intent to sell them, and the whole family knew it," a source told Radar Online.
Perhaps Rancic should take Jenner's advice with a grain of salt.
