Lady Gaga to Promote Tour Using Nude Poster (PHOTO)

Lady Gaga has posed virtually topless to ensure she receives maximum publicity for her new Born This Way Ball world tour.

Controversial as ever, Gaga has released a new publicity poster for her tour where she features topless with a clear plastic sheet wrapped around her.

According to The Sun the only cover she uses is a pair of lace-up platform boots and a hat. Gaga, 25, released the poster earlier this week, which also features a spooky gothic face over a medieval castle.

The contentious poster will obviously delight her hardcore fan base, but will no doubt also draw criticism from critics who will say she is again trying too hard.

Lady Gaga's new tour will kick off in Seoul, South Korea on April 27 and will go on for months as she tackles some of the largest cities in the world. The world tour will not end until into 2013.

Gaga took to Twitter to boast about her huge tour: "The Born This Way Ball will perform 110 shows around the world."

"Been working like crazy all day. Need to smoke a joint or something, or maybe just a good punch in the face. props props props," she added.

Gaga has become known for her massive tours and huge concerts. Her last tour was "Monster Ball," which went on from 2009 till 2011, and was widely praised; cementing her pop icon status across the globe. During that tour she performed in front of nearly 3 million people over 200 concert dates. The tour generated around $200 million, according to reports.
