Lamar Odom 'Drugs' Stories Leaked By Khloe Kardashian Family? NBA Star Concerned
Lamar Odom is reportedly concerned about false drug addiction rumors that have surfaced in recent days and sources claim he believes the family of his wife, Khloe Kardashian, may have leaked the stories.
Odom, 33, and Kardashian, 29, are reportedly separated following recent reports of an affair involving at least two women. On Saturday various gossip websites such as TMZ.com claimed the NBA veteran, who began playing in the league in 1999, has substance abuse issues which allegedly triggered his marital woes and the father of two is said to be suspicious about who exactly leaked the seemingly false stories.
"[Lamar] absolutely believes Khloe's family has been leaking stories to the tabloid press about his drug use, and his trip to rehab last year. Khloe has been very private about Lamar's drug addiction as she had done for the past year," a family insider told RadarOnline.com.

"The last thing Lamar needs is for his battle to get sober made public. Khloe is also extremely angry that details about Lamar's past trip to rehab and recent failed intervention were published on various gossip websites," the source explained. However there is little to no evidence that Lamar does drugs, went to rehab, or had an intervention.
Odom, who is currently a free agent, is reportedly concerned that the rumors surrounding his personal life could affect his future in the NBA. The Kardashian family has not responded to reports claiming they leaked the "drug" stories.
"Lamar is a free agent, and of course, that could hurt his chances of being signed by an NBA team. Basketball is Lamar's life... ," the source said. "He will be obviously be subjected to increased drug testing by the NBA which has a very tough policy on using illegal substances and steroids." But again, as these claims and rumors of drug use have little evidence, it is unclear if the NBA will actually be concerned.
On Wednesday Kardashian, who wed Odom in 2009, reportedly kicked her estranged husband of out their marital home weeks after two women came forward claiming he had cheated.
In July, a woman identified as Jennifer Richardson claimed to have engaged in an extramarital affair with Odom. Weeks later Polina Polonsky, who is a criminal defense attorney, made similar claims and Kardashian is said to be devastated.
"With both mistresses coming out, [Khloe] can't handle much more. If more women come forward, she will do it," an alleged friend told Life & Style magazine about the possibility of divorce.
"Khloe is a strong girl but the cheating rumors have really worn her down," another friend revealed. "She is humiliated and p----- off."
