'Left 4 Dead 3' Is Valve's Priority Ahead Of 'Half-Life 3'
"Left 4 Dead 3" has now taken the place of "Half-Life 3" in developer Valve's priorities, based on the latest rumors.
With the popularity of zombie-themed video games, Valve has reportedly chosen to focus on "Left 4 Dead 3" instead of "Half-Life 3." The third installment of the game was first rumored to be a prequel to "Left 4 Dead 2," and will introduce three new playable characters, according to a Parent Herald report cited by Christian Today.
Based on rumors reported by Master Herald, "Left 4 Dead 3" will feature the events that happened a month before the zombie outbreak. The report also said the new characters will consist of three males and one female. However, Kotaku reportedly debunked the rumor and said Chet Faliszek of Valve said the game will not be a prequel, Latinos Post relays.

Kotaku had emailed Faliszek to confirm the rumors about the "Left 4 Dead" prequel, but the video game writer said the rumors are false. He cited a YouTube video that introduced a game about the reason why zombies existed and how everything began with a heist.
Faliszek pointed out that the clip was a fan-made level for another game titled "Overkill." Moreover, the video game writer said Valve presently does not plan on making a prequel game for "Left 4 Dead," the report details.
While Faliszek's recent revelation came as a blow to "Left 4 Dead 3" fans, they also know that Valve usually takes a long time to release a title. The last installment of the said game was released six years ago, the report adds.
As of now, there are still no confirmed details on the development of "Left 4 Dead 3" because the company has remained mum on the issue. More information about the upcoming game is expected to surface in the next months or years.
