LG G Pro 2 Release Date Set for Mobile World Congress

The LG G Pro release date and unveiling could take place at this year's Mobile World Congress next month.

With the festivities just around the corner, LG is expected to introduce the successor to its LG Optimus G Pro which will feature Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, a full HD 6-inch display, a Snapdragon 800 CPU, and 3GB RAM.

The device is actually comparable to the Galaxy Note 3 that features similar specs. Not much else is known about the phablet at this time aside from the fact that it might run on LTE-Advanced networks.

The LG G Flex was recently announced for release through Sprint at the same on-contract price. It can also be purchased through the carrier's new Easy Pay program for a $150 down payment followed by 24 payments of $20 monthly.

Various promo videos for the G Flex have been released in the past few months revealing different features the device possesses including its ability to heal itself. It also comes with a flexible battery, flexible display and flexible chassis.
