LG Phones: Nexus Device Specs Leak
Specifications leaked for what could be an LG Nexus smartphone this week.
This handset seems like it will be created through the partnership of LG and Google.
Specs on this LG Nexus smartphone include Android 4.2, a quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor, a 2GB of RAM, 1280 x 768 True HD IPS screen, on screen soft keys, an 8-megapixel camera, and built-in wireless charging.
The device will not include a microSD slot and will come in two memory capacities, 8GB and 16GB.
This LG Nexus is expected to be released in mid-November. More details should emerge as that time approaches.
Another LG phone, the LG Optimus, will be released before the end of the last quarter of 2012, and the device will launch on both AT&T and Sprint.
"The LG Optimus G lets our customers work and play as hard as they want with one of our first quad core processor designed to deliver a great multitasking experience," said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president of Devices, AT&T. "We think customers will really enjoy having the power of a computer in the palm of their hand."
The new LG handset was unveiled this week and is described as a "PC-Like" smartphone.
The Optimus G features impressive specifications including Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, a Qualcomm 1.5GHz quad-core CPU Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage memory, Bluetooth 4.0, a 2100mAh Li-Polymer battery and a 4.7-inch True HD IPS Plus display.
Sprint's variant comes equipped with a 13-megapixel camera while the AT&T version will feature an 8-megapixel shooter. The software on the smartphone features QSlide Function, which allows it to show two different screens simultaneously.
AT&T promises that the camera on its variant will feature zero shutter lag, live shot to capture simultaneous video and still images, and Time Catch Shot, which takes the perfect picture even if the shutter was pressed at the wrong time.
