Lil Wayne Epilepsy: Rapper Confirms Cause of Recent Seizures
Lil Wayne's recent episode of seizures shocked fans, and now the rapper has spoken out for the first time on the incident, admitting that he "could have died" and that he has been diagnosed with epilepsy.
The rapper has had a history of suffering from convulsions, and recently had a more intense episode that saw him hospitalized in intensive care.
Things were so bad that doctors reportedly struggled to stabilize him condition.

According to some sources the rapper's life was in danger at that time, however, it was later claimed by some that people were just being dramatic.
However, now the rapper has opened up about the recent health care. He has said that he has been diagnosed with epilepsy.
"[I'm] prone to seizures," he told Power 106's DJ Felli Fel. "This wasn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh... I have had a bunch of seizures, you just never hear about them."
He added, "But this time it got real bad 'cause I had three of them in a row and on the third one, my heart rate went down to like 30 per cent. Basically, I could've die."
He also confirmed that his entire team and close associates have now been debriefed on his diagnosis, and there will always be those near him who would know what to do should be suffer another episode.
Wayne also has rebutted rumors that his recent hospitalization had anything to do with sizzurp - a mixture that includes prescription-strength cough syrup with codeine as its primary ingredient.
The rapper has said that those rumors are utterly false and explained that the issue came down simply to "plain stress and no rest."
When asked about his current schedule and future tours, he confirmed that he will be holding 40 shows across the Unites States from July. He laughed, "I will never stop, like I'm runnin' from the cops."
