The rapper recently revealed that he suffers from epilepsy, after he spent about a week at the same medical center after suffering a series of seizures in March.

Following the episode, Lil Wayne spoke with L.A. radio station Power 106 and said, "I'm an epileptic, so I'm prone to seizures. I've had a bunch of seizures. Y'all just never hear about it. This time it got real bad because I got three of 'em in a row, and on the third one, my heart rate went down to, like, 30 percent."

He added, "Basically, I could have died soon. That's why it was so serious. The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest and overworking myself."

The news comes shortly following the rapper getting in trouble by upsetting the family of slain teenager Emmett Till.

"As a recording artist, I have always been interested in word play. My lyrics often reference people, places and events in my music, as well as the music that I create for or alongside other artists," the rapper wrote in a letter titled to the Till family.

"It has come to my attention that lyrics from my contribution to a fellow artist's song has deeply offended your family. As a father myself, I cannot imagine the pain that your family has had to endure. I would like to take a moment to acknowledge your hurt, as well as the letter you sent to me via your attorneys."
