Lily Allen Gives Birth to Baby Girl
Pop singer Lily Allen has given birth to a baby girl in England on Friday. The good news comes just a year after the singer suffered a tragic miscarriage when she was six months pregnant. Fans across the world have immediately sent her congratulations and best wishes to the newborn.
She married her husband Sam Cooper in June and her pregnancy was only announced during Cooper’s wedding speech.
According to the Daily Mail, a close friend of Allen said the birth was “all good.” Her former boyfriend and DJ Seb Chew tweeted: “Sending out love to lily, sam and mini cooper... YES.”
Last month the singer tweeted that she had been suffering from Braxton Hicks.
In September, Allen said in a newspaper interview that her mom was desperate to know the sex of her grandchild-to-be, saying: “It’s between me and my husband. She thinks she knows what it is and whenever she calls me she refers to the baby as Betty.”
Lily Allen has been taking a break from music since 2009 and has recently hinted that she would like to return to music this year, saying she misses playing live.
