According to reports, Lohan was running late for her appearance, and it has been reported that the judge in the case may now issue a bench warrant for her arrest on the first day of her trial.

The jet was supplied by the Mr. Pink energy drink company, according to celebrity news website TMZ.

The beverage company picked up the $50,000 fee to cover the last-minute request to Van Nuys airport, which is 20 miles from the court house.

The "Mean Girls" actress is on trial for violating her probation when she had a car accident in Santa Monica, Calif., last summer.

Lohan crashed her Porsche on the Pacific Coast Highway in June and is accused of lying to police when the incident took place. Lohan faces one misdemeanor count each of reckless driving, providing false information to an officer and willfully resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer.

She faces 60 to 90 days in jail if she is convicted. She was on probation for her infamous 2011 necklace theft case where she stole a $2,500 necklace at Kamofie and Company jewelry store in Venice, Calif., on Jan, 22, 2011.

Lohan is expected to arrive to her criminal trial with her New York-based attorney Mike Heller. The Santa Monica City Attorney, who is the state's prosecutor, is expected to request that Lohan be sentenced to the maximum amount of time for her charges - 240 days of jail time - if she is convicted because she has violated her probation several times.

If Lohan is convicted, it is expected that she will receive two more years of probation. If she serves jail time upon her conviction and has another run-in upon her release, she could face even more jail time for violation of the new extended probation.
