Lisa Vanderpump Bruises: ''DWTS' Should Come With A Health Warning'
Lisa Vanderpump lamented her addition to the season 16 cast of "Dancing With The Stars" after sustaining injuries during dance rehearsals this week.
Like many celebrities on the show before her, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star said she is "covered" in bruises.
"I look OK on the outside, but inside I'm falling apart," Vanderpump revealed while speaking to Access Hollywood.
The 52-year-old is competing for the "DWTS" Mirrorball trophy alongside professional dancer Gleb Savchenko.
"Oh my God- I'm covered in [bruises]," she added. "I mean, it's so much harder than I thought it would be! I have to be honest. It should come with a health warning."
In the past, celebrity contestants on "DWTS" have suffered from injuries that include sprained ankles, sore backs, and fractured ribs.
Meanwhile, Vanderpump has proven herself on the dance floor. During last week's season premiere, the "RHOBH" star and her partner received 18 points out of a possible 30 for their foxtrot.
However, this week, Vanderpump and Savchenko will be performing the jive for their second dance.
"We don't have the routine down," British-born Vanderpump told Access Hollywood just days before their performance. "It's a bit of a rush. I think everybody is struggling. I think I can speak for everybody else, because I've been talking to the other cast [members]."
Fellow season 15 cast members include "The Bachelor" star Sean Lowe, MTV star and comedian Andy Dick, and country music singers Winona Judd and Kellie Pickler.
Comedian D.L. Hughley, Disney star Zendaya, and German actor Ingo Rademacher have also joined "DWTS" this season, along with athletes Jacoby Jones, Aly Raisman, Victor Ortitz, and former Olympic figure skater Dorothy Hamill.
"DWTS" airs on ABC Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST.
