Lisa Vanderpump 'Relieved' by 'DWTS' Elimination

Lisa Vanderpump has admitted that her elimination from "Dancing With The Stars" Tuesday night was not unwelcome.

Usually a tearful event, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star seemed unscathed after getting the boot from the dancing competition.

"I have to be honest, I'm okay with it," she explained to People magazine following the show. "That's why I didn't fall apart crying."

Furthermore, Vanderpump noted "an element of relief" following her dismissal from "DWTS."

The 52-year-old reality television star had been very open about her struggles on "DWTS" and her elimination came as no surprise to fans.

Over the past few weeks, Vanderpump even lamented her addition to season 16's cast, saying she was "covered in bruises."

"I look OK on the outside, but inside I'm falling apart," Vanderpump revealed while speaking to Access Hollywood.

"I mean, it's so much harder than I thought it would be," she added. "I have to be honest. It should come with a health warning."

In the past, celebrity contestants on "DWTS" have suffered from injuries that include sprained ankles, sore backs, and fractured ribs.

Adding to her woes, Vanderpump also suffered from a fainting spell and an illness during this week's rehearsals.

Clarifying that she "felt crappy" during Monday's performance of the cha-cha, Vanderpump said she was exhausted and especially did not want to see footage of her rehearsals from the past week.

"I was like, 'Please, please take that out,'" said the British-born star. "[The producers] were like, 'This is reality [TV], we might show your best moments, but we'll definitely show your worst …' It was just exhaustion, everything together."

As for her professional dance partner Gleb Savchenko and the rest of the "DWTS" cast, Vanderpump expressed her gratitude.

Thanking them for an "incredible experience," Vanderpump added, "To be included with this group of people, I'm really happy," during Tuesday night's episode.

"It's been six long weeks," she said. "It's the hardest thing I've ever done."

"DWTS" airs on ABC Mondays at 8 and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST.
