Liverpool vs Stoke Live Stream Football: Watch Online English Premier League Soccer (10AM ET)
Liverpool vs Stoke kicks off at 10 a.m ET on Sunday in a match the Reds will be desperate to win to get their season back on track. The match can be watched online through live stream (details below).
Initial reports suggest that Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers, is likely to keep faith in the side that gained the excellent win over Norwich last week. That would mean that Nuri Sahin, Suso and Andre Wisdom could all remain in the side, however, Jonjo Shelvey is still suspended.
Stoke will be dangerous opposition, however, and they have a string of former Liverpool players who will be energized to show what they've still got against their former club. Charlie Adam, Jermaine Pennant, Peter Crouch and Michael Owen will all be hoping to play, and could prove a dangerous quartet against the Reds.
Liverpool's record at Anfield this year has been terrible; they have won just two league games from their 12 through 2012, and have lost six in the process. That will have infuriated Liverpool fans who through their history have come to know Anfield as a fortress. They will be looking to reassert their home record with this match today and build a good run in their English Premier League campaign.
Earlier this year Liverpool played Stoke at Anfield and that match finished in deadlock with a 0-0 draw. Oftentimes teams come to Anfield and get players behind the ball and try and break up Liverpool's attacking play. Most believe a draw would be a good result away to Liverpool, and are happy keeping the game tight and simply look to sneak a goal for the win if possible. Liverpool will be weary of that, and will know they will have to show more creative initiative than they've shown many times over the past year.
Stoke meanwhile have never won a top flight match at Anfield - that's a run that goes back 49 matches. However, they sit above Liverpool in the English Premier League table after six games and with their four former Liverpool players in the squad will feel now is as good a time as any to break that duck.
